For $12,450, you can own the car with the greatest power roof in history. If you are unfamiliar with how the TransTop opens:
Yes, it has a robot in the trunk that carries the otherwise standard targa roof panel away for you. I need this in my life.

It’s so clean. Like you could eat off of the valve cover. And the color matched seats. It’s perfect.

I badly want to see the schematics of the system. It seems like such an overly complicated solution to a simple concept, and I absolutely love it.

and the best part is that it actually works, since it’s a 90s Honda :)

Can you imagine if they had something like this on the Fiat X1/9? Lol

I think it’s relatively simple. If the problem is “removing the targa top automagically”, this works pretty well.
Substantially less complicated than
any other power folding top ever designed

I’m a real sucker for stock Jap cars from the 90s. This is beautiful.
The only caveat, always, is they’re very expensive and they’ll depreciate whenever you use them. The sweet spot is a
slightly used, mostly stock
car, ie. what I’ve been buying for years

That just folds the roof. There’s no handoff to a robot.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

I’d like to see how that would do with snow on the roof. Also that’s got to be heavy, adding weight onto what’s already the heaviest Civic up to 2001.
